Our Mission

Charlotte, Polejam's lead instructor has many years experience teaching 'Pole Fitness' and ensures that each class is run in a relaxed, friendly and fun atmosphere where everyone can learn new skills, get and keep fit.

started pole dancing in 2006; she has always been a gym addict but was amazed at how this new exercise dramatically improved her strength, body tone and flexibility. She wanted to share her new found passion with others and founded Pole Jam Pole Fitness classes in 2008.

Charlotte loves to teach and understands that her students progress at different rates according to their prior fitness and strength; she supports all her students on an individual basis to achieve their goals, ensuring her classes are suitable for everyone.

Charlotte is fully insured and First Aid trained.

She has had the pleasure of being trained by many very talented Pole Dancers including Pantera Blacksmith.


has always loved dance and has been trained in Contemporary, Jazz, Street dance and even dabbled in a bit of Ballroom. She went on to study dance as a GCSE and has also completed a certificate in Personal Health and Fitness. As well as dancing she has been practicing Yoga to help increase her strength, balance and flexibility. Early 2014 she had decided to go on to do her Fitness Yoga Instructor Training.

Alice was first introduced to Pole Dancing with PoleJam in may 2010, when she went along to their taster class, she absolutely loved it and hasn’t looked back since! “The girls at Pole jam immediately made me feel welcome, and I have found it to be a great way to keep fit, tone up, have fun and build my confidence.” Alice has also had the pleasure of being trained by some of the most amazing and talented pole dancers including: Annie Norris, Donna Gant and Michelle Shimmy.

Alice has completed her XPert Pole Fitness level 1 and 2 training which has given her an in depth knowledge of spotting techniques and the skills necessary to ensure participants of all fitness levels experience a safe and effective workout in her classes.

Alice is a 3star PDC approved instructor, First Aid trained and fully insured.


Hannah started learning pole fitness in December 2008 after her Granny saw an article in the local herald. Since school Hannah has been a self-confessed gym-phobe, but has found that pole has given her the motivation to commit to an exercise class and fitness regime.

After progressing for 3 years, under the tuition of Charlotte she was offered an opportunity to start teaching her own class in January 2012

Hannah likes that in teaching pole she is passing on the enthusiasm and confidence that she has gained from taking classes. She also loves that the sport is inclusive of all ages, shapes and sizes of women who each find they get something out of the classes. Hannah has participated in various burlesque workshops and has also taken part in an Annie Norris Master class in pole.

Hannah is PDC approved with first aid training and full insurance.

They have a regulated code of conduct and 'Approved' status is only given to Pole Dance schools which can demonstrate very demanding levels of professionalism, safety and member care. We are proud to have achieved this recognition, and you can be assured that we will always strive to meet and exceed the criteria set by PDC
